Warehouse Material Handling
Greenville, SC
Contract Position
$14.00-$19.00/Hour
Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircrafts operational life and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or worksite while following specific instructions.
- Perform tasks related to shipping, receiving, and storage, including picking and putting away items.
- Open containers using hand tools, count and weigh materials, and accurately record relevant information.
- Transfer materials to and from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machinery by hand.
- Operate equipment such as hand trucks, electric dollies, and elevators to transport materials.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials onto and from trucks.
- Stack or assemble materials as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods with limited rest and walk distances during the work shift.
- Capability to climb ladders and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
