As a Supply Chain Summer Student at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.
Our business units supply chains provide all required control for inventory planning and management, procurement, receiving, warehousing and shipping. We are looking for a driven individual to work within our Supply Chain team across our various business units.
This opportunity will allow a student to develop and showcase their skills in project management, process and value stream mapping(VSM), problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
Over the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with the Manager, Supply Chain Business Unit
- Hands on work detailing and documenting the various functions of the supply chain
- Analysis of the transaction processing performed, and data entry requirements
- Analysis of process differences between business units
- Recommend process improvements and countermeasures, short term and long term (future state)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Between 2nd and 4th year student
- MS Suite proficient
- Good team player and communication skills
- Experience working in supply chain/warehousing
- Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, crouch, crawl and/or climb for prolonged periods
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of access, excel, outlook
- Attention to details
- Experience working in a team environment, process improvement methodology/six sigma and process mapping
- Thorough knowledge of inventory control systems, purchasing and production management
- 1+ years of experience in an inventory or manufacturing environment
