Material Control Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the movement of materials into and out of storage, production, and flight test locations to support manufacturing and product support activities.
• Monitor and analyze work-in-process (WIP) to maintain material flow and prevent production delays.
• Update and track parts and material status using automated inventory and material tracking systems.
• Identify material shortages, discrepancies, and system inaccuracies; analyze root causes and reconcile inventory issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and expedite materials to meet production schedules.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and system integrity through routine audits and discrepancy resolution.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 4+ years of related warehouse, inventory, or material control experience
• Warehouse Operations Experience supporting production or manufacturing environments
• Inventory Management & Material Handling experience
• Experience using computer-based inventory or tracking systems
• Crane and/or Forklift Certification or operational experience
• Ability to work on-site in a production/warehouse environment
