Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient movement of production parts and materials into/out of storage, production, and staging areas per standard work instructions.
- Monitor, analyze, and report work-in-process (WIP) status to support schedule adherence.
- Communicate material and part availability using manual logs and automated systems.
- Identify and resolve material discrepancies or shortages using predefined procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and production teams to prioritize and expedite material flow.
- Operate under general supervision on a variable shift schedule, 100 onsite at the North Charleston, SC facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or retail supporting non-production materials or tooling.
- Physically able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs, walk/stand throughout shift, bend, climb stairs, and package/unload materials.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment.
- Forklift license or the ability to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using the following systems/tools:
- ERPLN (Enterprise Resource Planning for Logistics)
- Order Manager
- Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)
- Enablon (EHS and risk management platform)
