Job Title: Parts Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Parts Specialist to join our team at Teterboro Airport, NJ. The successful candidate will be responsible for shipping and receiving parts, materials, cores, equipment, and replenishing inventory in the computer system. You will ensure that packages are free from visible damage and verify all items received comply with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability, including part number, serial number, and shelf life. Additional responsibilities include performing self-life audits and cycle counts.
Responsibilities
- Ship and receive parts, materials, cores, and equipment.
- Replenish inventory in the computer system.
- Verify no visible damage exists to packages.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability.
- Verify part number, serial number, and shelf life of received items.
- Perform self-life audits and cycle counts.
Essential Skills- 1-2 years of experience with aircraft parts or auto parts.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Verifiable high school diploma.
- Willingness to obtain DOT/IATA certifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with parts, materials, inventory, stocking, and cycle counts.
- Strong inventory control and warehouse inventory handling skills.
- Effective computer data entry capabilities.

Work Environment
Work indoors in a hangar setting. Dress code includes a t-shirt, work pants, and boots. Available shifts include 2nd Shift (2pm-10:30pm) Tuesday - Saturday, Overnight Shift (10pm-6:30am) Sunday - Thursday, and Overnight Shift (10pm-6:30am) Tuesday - Saturday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
