Responsibilities:
- Route incoming materials to designated storage locations in accordance with established storage and handling procedures
- Conduct regular inventories; identify, document, and report damaged or deteriorated materials
- Issue materials from stock, prepare items for shipment, and maintain accurate inventory records
- Review production schedules to determine material and hardware requirements to support on-time execution
- Analyze material availability, inventory levels, and configuration control to resolve shortages or discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve material-related issues to ensure adherence to quality standards, schedules, and cost objectives
- Order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required to support operational needs
- Perform in-depth analysis of complex material, inventory, and scheduling issues when required
- Comply with all safety, health, tool control, FOD, inventory control, housekeeping, and contract requirements
- Perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment and working in varied environmental conditions
- Support all shifts and operational requirements as directed by supervision and management
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 4+ years of warehouse or material control experience, including inventory accuracy and accountability
- Certifications / Licenses: Forklift license or ability to obtain
- Technical Skills:
- Computer competency (inventory systems, data entry, reporting)
- Material handling and warehouse management practices
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to work all shifts and perform duties in varied weather, physical locations, and environmental conditions
- Ability to safely perform duties while wearing required PPE
