The opportunity
We are seeking a talented Financial Analyst/Project Cost Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Support the month end process with the required journals and reconciliations, including all required reporting.
- Maintaining project forecasts and assist with preparing variance analysis
- Participate in budget and forecast reviews one on one with cost account managers and other relevant stakeholders
- Investigation of cost drivers and areas for improvement
- Use of project management cost tools
Experience/Qualifications
- Qualification in accounting or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to adapt to different situations and organise priorities autonomously to meet deadlines
- Proactive
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders
- Competent user with great Excel skills and other Microsoft Office applications. Ideally have experience in ERP such as Oracle
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
