Responsibilities:
- Provide financial support for contracts and programs through development of resource forecasts, cost performance reports, and Estimates at Completion (EACs).
- Analyze resource forecasts and EACs to identify and explain variances and trends to management.
- Compile financial data from multiple systems to prepare summary performance reports and ensure accuracy in budget baselines.
- Support earned value management (EVM) by developing and maintaining cost and schedule baselines and analyzing variances.
- Prepare Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables such as Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR), Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR), and Cost Performance Report (CPR).
- Manage and update CSPR/Cobra tables, funding statuses, and monitor cash flow and canceling funds risk.
- Contribute to the development of business cases using financial analysis and modeling.
- Support compliance with reporting requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Typically 6+ years of related work experience or a Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
- Tools & Systems:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, advanced formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with CSPR/Cobra, IRE, and EAS systems
- Core Competencies:
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Experience in developing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
- CDRL development and financial reporting experience
