The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Wire Design & Install Engineer – F-15 Lab Infrastructure, located in Berkeley, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supports analysis and design reviews.
- Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).
- Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
- Responsible for the overall layout of sub-assemblies, PCs, displays, and panels to ensure optimal functionality, performance and user experience
- Utilize 3D modeling and product lifecycle management software, specifically NX and Teamcenter, to create and modify designs and documentation
- Supports the development of statements of work.
- Assists in the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.
- Analyzes functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture.
- Works under general supervision.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR work-related experience with a Masters (level 2)
- 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR 3+ years work-related experience with a Masters degree (level 3)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with 3D modeling software (NX)
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management software such as Teamcenter
- Experience in cable and equipment rack design
Typical Education/Experience:
Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:
Level 2: $81,600 - $110,400
Level 3: $97,750 - $$132,250
