We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team. The role involves establishing test procedures, coordinating testing of Power Generation Equipment, and verifying and validating new tests. The work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Responsibilities
- Establish test procedures and coordinate testing of Power Generation Equipment.
- Manage testing projects within the scope of Engineering and Production.
- Verify and validate new tests.
- Test new products and develop systems to gather digital data during testing.
- Set up test chambers to test hydraulic and AC Oil cooled systems.
Essential Skills- Testing experience in the Aviation Industry or a highly regulated industry.
- Experience in developing, qualifying, and testing products.
- Experience troubleshooting complex Aviation Power Generation systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Product testing, product development engineering, quality engineering, hydraulic design, hydraulic modeling, hydraulics maintenance, AC/DC motor control, test chamber, test cell, thermal testing, MIL-SPEC, MIL standards, DoD, aircraft, ITAR, circuit board, electronics, avionics, AC/DC power systems, oil-cooled hydraulic systems.
- Experience setting up and operating test cells/chambers for hydraulic or AC electrical systems.
- Part 145/121 Repair Station, hydraulic system, hydraulics, avionics systems, instrumentation calibration, instrumentation electrical, research & development, validation, A&P, power electronics, vibration analysis, vibration & harshness, temperature controls, military standards, military aircraft.
- Airframe and Powerplant License is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, temperature-controlled, FAA-audited environment. The shift hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the possibility of needing to stay late due to the testing schedule. This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to extend, although it is not guaranteed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
