Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering) required; Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering preferred.
- Minimum six years of experience in a systems engineering or design engineering role required.
- Experience with hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, or architecture design.
- Experience with systems engineering, MBSE, and modeling software.
- Experience with requirements management and analysis.
- Experience with a broad array of engineering tools/languages including MATLAB Simulink, Cameo/No Magic Products, JIRA, and/or SysML.
- Experience documenting logical or physical designs using drawing tools (e.g., Visio, PowerPoint, Cameo/MagicDraw) to depict systems, subsystems, interfaces, components, and communications.
- Experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment is preferred.
- Experience in ground vehicle design & development preferred.
- Experience or certifications in Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) (i.e., OCSMP Certification) is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Effective and efficient writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Demonstrated self-starter with organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
- Customer interfacing and ability to build relationships.
- Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal direction.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Active Secret Clearance preferred; Secret Clearance eligibility required.
