JOB SUMMARY:
This is a summer internship in our Engineering department. The intern will assist one or more electrical design engineers with various assignments, gaining hands-on experience while shadowing real-world operations. They will contribute to unique tasks supporting larger projects and engage in the daily responsibilities of an electrical engineer. Additionally, the intern may participate in activities and events designed to foster networking within the Dassault Falcon Jet community and among fellow interns, enhancing both professional connections and team collaboration.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Designing and updating 2D wire harnesses in ESTEL
- Creating and updating 2D wire schematics in ELECTRE
- Assisting Electrical Engineers with Falcon 6X and Falcon 8X design updates and development
- Conducting special research studies, and performing continuous improvement studies
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Solid knowledge of electrical engineering
- Effective communication skills in English
- Be open to feedback
- Basic manufacturing knowledge
- Capable of creating and updating electrical schematics in ELECTRE or equivalent
- Must reside in the United States
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Electrical Engineering major preferred
