JOB TITLE: Structures & Payload Design Engineer IV
LOCATION: Huntsville, AL
PAY RATE: $97/hour

Job Details:

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?

Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements.

Utilize 3D CAD tools to design and modify components, providing product definitions throughout the lifecycle.

Lead performance testing, integration, and analysis to verify compliance.

Manage supplier development and coordinate testing and production.

Assist in researching emerging technologies for future designs.

Works under minimal direction.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree with 9+ years of related experience, Masters with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years

Background in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET accreditation preferred but not required)

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
