Sr Advanced Project Engineer - MFW

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the design and integration of jet engines for Military Fixed-Wing applications, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
  • Oversee engine-related systems integration, design, and support for military fixed-wing applications (CCA, F124, TFE1042).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, driving operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate leadership capability with a diverse, cross-functional international team.
  • Effectively escalate issues with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a bias toward creative thinking and innovation in product design and everyday work approaches.
  • Implement design-to-cost and variation-reduction strategies.
  • Promote and build a strong team culture and working relationships.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 or more years of US Military Service or Aerospace experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
WE VALUE
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business (MBA) is desired.
  • Aerospace or Systems Engineering Degree is preferred.
  • Experience with DOORS NG.
  • Familiarity with DOORS, CAMEO, SysML, and/or other RBE/MBE programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage workload.
  • Prior systems engineering experience, either through direct industry experience or education/training.
  • Ability to execute complex projects in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Capability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully and effectively.
  • Focus on results and effective execution of projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
