Role Overview:As a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the design, development, and analysis of high-performance components. Your expertise will directly influence the efficiency, performance, and safety of advanced systems, helping us push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Structural Analysis: Conduct in-depth stress, vibration, and heat transfer analyses using advanced finite element methods (FEM).
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, guiding engineers across different time zones to ensure project success.
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and technical expertise to build a strong engineering team.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure that all projects meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and high standards of safety and performance.
- Problem-Solving: Address complex engineering challenges and provide innovative solutions to improve product designs and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in stress analysis, specifically with gas turbine engines or similar load-bearing components.
- Proficiency in linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, fatigue, shock, harmonic, and vibration analyses.
- Strong hands-on experience with ANSYS and classical hand calculation methods.
Preferred:
- Experience in a regulated product development environment.
- Knowledge of crack growth analysis and risk management techniques.
- Ability to mentor and lead engineering teams in a matrix organization.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Pay Details: $53.25 per hour
