Summary:
Conducting inspections, managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), overseeing critical processes, and ensuring quality compliance at a supplier site.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of assemblies and components.
Perform inspections of components, composites, metals, assemblies, and tooling.
Oversee and witness critical processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Manage the resolution of NCRs between the Supplier and Client.
Partner with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate assembly delivery with correct documentation.
Required Skills:
Bachelors in Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Minimum of 10 years in inspection, metrology, NDT/NDI, FAI, and GD&T (preferred).
Hands-on experience in airframe fabrication, assembly, and integration.
Strong understanding of aerospace systems, composites, and certifications.
Proficiency in ERP systems, CATIA V5, and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2000, AS9100, FAA regulations, and industry standards.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Inspection, FAI, and GD&T expertise.
Knowledge of quality certification, aircraft systems, and composite aero structures.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
Desired Skills:
ASQ or QMS certification preferred.
Proficiency in CMM, CAD/CATIA, and data analysis.
Experience in leadership and supplier interface.
