The Endicott New Product Development group is looking for a motivated and self-directed Manufacturing Engineer to join the team to support the build our emerging product set for Aircraft Electrification and Military Avionics. The candidate will be responsible for creating and updating manufacturing work instructions in compliance with Engineering drawings and specifications. The candidate will work directly with the manufacturing assembly team to support and solve problems holding up production as well as supporting the various manufacturing processes utilized to produce Energy Storage Systems and flight controls.
As a manufacturing engineer, you will work with the team to develop, evaluate, improve and document manufacturing processes. Responsibilities will also include developing and implementing process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments. Additionally, the candidate will work with other manufacturing engineers, assembly personnel and supervisors to drive and implement continuous improvement (Lean) activities within the department.
