Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Develop design solutions for tooling and fixturing using CAD software, in close collaboration with the process engineer
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including execution drawings, BOMs, specifications
• Assure functionality and resolve issues for fixtures performance, durability or production needs
• Select appropriate materials for fixture construction considering factors like cost, strength and machinability  
• Participate in cost estimations for fixtures projects, suggesting methods to reduce expenses without compromising quality
• Use analytical thinking and technical skills to address challenges, proposing solutions with guidance and leveraging internal resources.
• After training, implement lean manufacturing principles, such as SIX SIGMA, to improve processes and train personnel.
• Involvement in improvement and cost reduction projects.

Required Qualifications 

• Profound experience in fixture design or similar role within the manufacturing sector
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (2D and / or 3D).
• Knowledge of GT&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)  
• Strong understanding of CNC machining and other manufacturing processes
• Fluent in Romanian and communicative English.
