Join a team where Engineering really matters! Boeing Global Services (BGS) C-17 is seeking an Integration Engineer for exciting opportunities with the C-17 Globemaster program working with multiple Engineering teams and leading special projects in Long Beach, California.
Seeking an Integration Engineer to work special projects and coordinate with various Engineering teams. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, self-starter with a high degree of technical competency. The selected candidate will work across all areas of engineering, project management, program management, and other teams across the C-17 organization to ensure activities and tasks are completed to plan within cost targets. The candidate will interact with senior leadership and customer representatives to communicate status and performance to plan.

Position Responsibilities:
- Work multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and for each task be responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders, planning, organizing, scheduling, and assessing risks; leading all aspects of implementation.
- Produce project initiation and status documentation for all projects and conduct management and customer reviews.
- Leadership experience developing and managing project teams and project schedules, planning, cost and EVMS.
- Build strong project implementation teams and facilitate team discussions as appropriate.
- Prioritize, delegate and track tasks and action items needed to achieve project completion.
- Facilitate and resolve issues.
- Develop overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders.
- Lead others and direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- 1+ years of experience presenting summarized project status and issues to management and the customer along with recommended future steps
- Must have 1+ years of experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Boeing and external partners.
- Experience collecting data, developing metrics, and conducting trend analysis.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
- Experience collecting data, developing metrics, and conducting trend analysis.
- Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management) cost baselining and reporting.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Boeing and external partners.
- Able to develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and execute on projects.
- Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
- Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with team members across different cultures and time-zones.
- Occasional travel (10) may be required in support of the program and customer.

Summary pay range: $80,750 - $109,250
