Engineering Project Manager / Control Account Manager (CAM): This position is in the Fort Worth Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) Design Team within the F-35 and Integrated Fighter Group, Test and Evaluation Business Units. As the focal point and subject matter experts for all Fort Worth Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) Designs, the team provides the central point for all system design and development, system build, lab & onboard checkouts, and final deliveries to our test operations teams. In addition, post-delivery, this team provides operations support, process documentation, procedural updates and configuration management of the F-35 and IFG test fleet.
The successful candidate for the Engineering Project Manager/CAM position, will be responsible for leading and making decisions over a wide variety of projects. The candidate will be the Control Account Manager (CAM) for all activities within this team and will have demonstrated the ability to work through complex technical and programmatic issues and produce solutions that are both innovative and cost effective. The candidate will also be responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance throughout the lifecycle of the FTI program. This individual will monitor execution of all authorized tasks, identify, and resolve performance issues, and ensure the completion of contract requirements across multiple simultaneous projects. Ability to prioritize tasking, work independently and manage multiple projects is necessary.
Self-initiated assignments will be common, and the candidate will be expected to take a proactive approach to ensure all overall program objectives are met. This individual must have excellent customer support, communication, and interpersonal skills as often they represent flight test to our customers. In addition, the candidate will provide proposal response leadership, developing cost estimates and related documentation including: basis of estimates (BOE), statements of work (SOW), Ground Rules & Assumptions (GR&A), Technical Statement of Works (TSOW), generated to answer future customer requests for proposals (RFP), cost estimates and ROMs.
A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS Degree in a Technical Field
• Experience in Project Management
• Experience in Systems Engineering
• Experience with engineering estimation
• Experience with Control Account Management (CAM) duties and Earned Value Methodologies
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
