Electrical Engineer – Aerospace Industry
Location: Windsor Locks, CT 06096
Job Type: Full-time; Consultant (12 Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday; First Shift
Pay Rate: $41.50 per hour
Your Role & Responsibilities:As an Electronics Test Rig Electrical Engineer (Onsite), you will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Analyze and troubleshoot Customer Flight Hardware, providing expert direction to repair technicians to ensure flight-ready conditions.
- Test Rig Design & Upgrades: Design and perform electrical testing on test rigs, including upgrades and repairs to existing equipment.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with the Electronics Afterspanet Maintenance and Repair team to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Additional Technical Contributions: Engage in similar projects as required, expanding your expertise in electrical engineering applications.
What We’re Looking For: Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 10+ years of experience in an electronics test and repair environment.
OR 15-20 years of hands-on experience in an electronics test and repair environment for non-degreed professionals.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Strong background in electrical components, PC board layout, and electronics packaging.
Experience with test rig design, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades.
Ability to work onsite with occasional WFH flexibility (less than 10 of the time).
