Responsible for designing, developing, and upgrading electronic solutions across Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) with a focus on analog and digital design, compliance with MIL standards, and mentoring junior engineers.
Job Requirements:- Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance required on day one
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor�s degree in Engineering with a minimum of five (5) years of experience OR an advanced degree with three (3) years of experience OR nine (9) years of relevant experience without a degree
- Experience with pre-CAD circuit design, including schematic capture, power, FPGA resource utilization, and PWB stack-ups
- Proficiency in industry design tools such as Xpedition Enterprise (primary tool) and Cadence Allegro
- Experience with mixed-signal design, including SoC/FPGAs, A/D Converters, Digital Down Converters, D/A Converters, Digital Waveform Generators, Mixed Signal CCAs, Mixed Signal Modules, and Subsystems
- Experience with digital hardware design, including Subsystem/Module Digital Circuits, FPGA/ASICs, COTS Interfaces, Subsystem Development, VME/PCI interfaces, and Digital Systems
Preferred Skills:- Active DoD security clearance
- Electronics design experience with 3U VPX and/or SOSA hardware
- Understanding of backplane topologies, slot, and module profiles of 3U VPX card sets
- Five (5) or more years of experience developing products and systems
- Experience in designing digital and analog products, including microprocessor systems, low-power supplies, and communication subsystems
- Experience with signal integrity and high-speed design considerations
- TEMPEST design experience
- Working knowledge of EMI/EMC standards for military applications
- Experience designing for military aircraft applications
Job Responsibilities:- Design and develop analog and digital circuit solutions for Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
- Support clean-sheet and upgrade electronic solutions, ensuring compliance with MIL-STD-461 and other military standards
- Utilize design tools such as Xpedition Enterprise and Cadence Allegro for schematic capture and PCB layout
- Perform mixed-signal and digital hardware design, including FPGA-based systems and high-speed interfaces
- Work closely with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure system integration
- Develop PCB and system requirements and support system test teams
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers in circuit card and firmware design
Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
