As an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in supporting defense guidance and navigation products. You will work within a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain complex systems that ensure the reliability and accuracy of our products. Your technical expertise in systems engineering and your dedication to quality will be instrumental in shaping the future of defense guidance and navigation technology.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Clearwater, Florida location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of our defense guidance and navigation products by ensuring their performance, reliability, and accuracy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, design and develop solutions, and conduct testing and validation activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and design solutions
• Develop and maintain complex systems for defense guidance and navigation products
• Validate and maintain requirements traceability
• Conduct testing and validation activities to ensure product performance and reliability
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 3 or more years Experience in systems engineering or a related field
• 2 or more years Experience working with electronic hardware
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering), etc.
• Experience in defense guidance and navigation systems
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
