Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Critical Systems Architecture (CSA). In this role, you will impact the companys success by ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, ultimately contributing to the advancement of aerospace technologies and solutions. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead low to medium complexity projects for new development programs
- Facilitate the design and development of advanced systems, including but not limited to hardware, software components
- Program/project management application skills and business tools/applications to plan/maintain/control cost, schedule, resource allocation, risks, and milestones to Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Cost Account Management (CAM) skills
- Milestone development/management
- Customer technical communication and relationships
- Lead medium to complex technical proposals
- Metric development/reporting
- Risk (threats/opportunities) development and management
- Project performance and execution
- Technical problem solving/Root cause analysis
- Technical documentation
- Technical requirements management
Travel up to 10 may be required
Qualifications
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- 5 plus years of engineering experience in Aerospace Systems
- Strong Knowledge in project management
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Effective communicator
- Proficiency in technical documentation
WE VALUE- Experience with aerospace or industry safety standards and regulations
- Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Software Engineering preferred
- Familiarity with DO-178C and DO-254 standards
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
- Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, make timely decisions, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
- Able to convey technical ideas and concepts through team discussions, presentations and in writing
- Strong team participation and learning skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proven documentation creation, writing skills, and technical presentation making to customers
