As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will playa crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturingoperations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategiesto optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives,and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operationalexcellence.
You will report directly to our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor,and youll work out of our Danville, KY location on a full-time work schedule.
In this role you will use your extensive knowledge of manufacturing engineeringfundamentals to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet theevolving needs of our customers. You will contribute to the development ofHoneywells next generation of products while supporting new products fromconcept development through the start of production for manufacturing cost,yield, and schedule execution. You will be part of a group of highly committedprofessionals who support current product value engineering and theoptimization of the manufacturing process. Use your manufacturing engineeringexperience to support development of new products, standards and processes toachieve manufacturing goals. You will support daily production activities anddrive improvement in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various functional teams

- Specify and recommend capital equipment in fabrication and assembly applications

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing
- Experience with data analysis and statistical process control
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
WE VALUE
- Bachelors degree in engineering including, but not limited to, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, software, chemical, process, industrial
- 2+ years of work experience including manufacturing engineering and/or design engineering
- Computer skills including Excel, Power Point, AutoCAD and Solidworks
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation, collaboration
- Lean manufacturing experience, certification in Green Belt or Black Belt a plus
- 4+ years of experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer
- Project Management experience, certification a plus
- Experience with automation and digitalization a plus
- Ability to focus on important information and identify key details
- Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on tasks
- Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
- Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
