Capable of designing and implementing complex avionics upgrades on GA piston and turbine aircraft

Essential functions:

• Typical maintenance actions such as cabling, component removal/ installation, wire harness removal/installation. 
• Fabrication/alteration of wire harness assemblies and electrical continuity checks
• Fabricates and installs wiring assemblies and associated sheet metal panels and brackets.
• Follows manufacturer's aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, illustrated parts manuals, and service bulletins.
• Executes all required documentation as work is being completed in connection with assigned duties.
• Uses and operates ground support equipment, as applicable in a safe manner.
• Basic computer skills - MS Word, Excel

• Two-year technical degree in avionics, electronics, or a related field desired
• A&P certificate desired
• Able to read, write, and understand English
• authorized to work permanently in the United States
