The Role
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare (EW) Instructor to support the design, development, and delivery of high‑quality academic EW training across the EMEA region. This role is ideal for seasoned EW practitioners, reservists, defence professionals, or subject matter experts who want to share their expertise through structured, classroom‑based instruction.
Available on both full‑time and part‑time bases, the position offers flexibility while contributing to the development of the next generation of EW professionals.
Key ResponsibilitiesCourseware Development - Design, develop, and maintain academic EW course materials including presentations, lesson plans, exercises, and assessments.
- Translate complex EW concepts into clear, engaging content suitable for both technical and non‑technical learners.
- Ensure courseware remains accurate, current, and aligned with evolving EW doctrine and technology trends.
- Collaborate with instructors, SMEs, and academic leads to review and continuously improve course content.
Training Delivery - Deliver classroom‑based EW instruction across multiple course levels.
- Present complex EW theory clearly, adapting delivery to varied learner backgrounds.
- Deliver training at customer sites, partner locations, or academy facilities across EMEA.
Curriculum Support - Support the refinement and updating of EW curricula and learning materials.
- Contribute to lesson planning, course presentations, and structured learning activities.
- Support assessments, knowledge checks, and feedback processes.
Learner Engagement - Facilitate discussion, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding.
- Provide academic mentoring and subject matter guidance to learners.
- Maintain a professional, inclusive, and supportive training environment.
Professional Standards - Deliver training in line with organisational, security, and quality requirements.
- Remain informed on emerging EW technologies, threats, and doctrine.
- Represent the Academy professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & ExperienceEssential - Demonstrable experience in Electronic Warfare, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of EW principles, terminology, and operational concepts.
- Experience delivering instruction, briefings, or training in academic or professional settings.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non‑specialist audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the EMEA region.
Desirable - Military, defence, or government background.
- Previous experience in formal instructional roles.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles or academic training environments.
- Experience developing training content or supporting curriculum design.
- Relevant training or instructional qualifications.
