* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of recent avionics experience on the Boeing 737, including troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and/or modifications on avionics systems and equipment installed on the aircraft.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, installation drawings, and government regulations.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
* Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, internet software, e-mail, database software, inventory software, and order processing software.
* Drug Screen.

* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage abstract and concrete variables. Preferred Skills
* Experience with recent Boeing 737 aircraft. Job Duties & Functions
* Interpret and install avionics systems in accordance with installation drawings, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents with minimal supervision.
* Inspect components of avionics equipment for defects and examine the accuracy of assembly and installation.
* Troubleshoot malfunctions on aircraft avionics components and electrical system components.
* Test avionics equipment under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness.
* Analyze test results to identify adjustments, repairs, or replacement of defective components.
* Assure that only calibrated tooling and equipment are utilized for installation, repair, or modification of avionics/electronic systems.
* Accompany flight crew to perform in-flight adjustments/tests and determine post-flight repair work.
* Inspect and test aircraft communications components, navigation components, weather radar, autopilot, compass systems, and accessories, certifying they meet manufacturer specifications.
* Complete all reports, forms, and checklists in accordance with company, government, and FAA regulations.
* Comply with all safety requirements and use all mandated safety equipment in accordance with company, government, and OSHA requirements.
* Assist coworkers and other departments to successfully perform job duties when necessary.

* Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
* Frequently exposed to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles.
