Our client is looking to fill their vacant Avionics Technician in positions Boise, Idaho. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting and/or performing needed repairs to aircraft systems utilizing test equipment and hand tools to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
* Install, troubleshoot and/or repair aircraft systems utilizing test equipment
* Ensure proper care of customer property through all phases of work
* Accurately complete required paperwork and work order details in Corridor
* Continually keep clean and organized work area including personal tool box
* Understand and follow safety procedures, and utilize support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work
* Responsible for completing training syllabus for advancement to next level
* Performs other duties as directed without hesitation Education and Experience Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years experience in corporate or general aviation
* Skilled in troubleshooting, terminating and building wire harnesses, adept reading schematics/blue prints/wiring diagrams
* Experience/knowledge of some systems supported by WAI which include: Gogo, Garmin, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, Bendix King or Avidyne. Desired Qualifications:
* "A" certification is preferred but not required
* FCC Certification is preferred
