Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:
Provides technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft systems while minimizing schedule impact and ensuring safety and quality.
May substitute for Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician as needed.
Perform avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
Install and test electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications, ensuring defect-free systems.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems efficiently.
Perform repairs including splicing, soldering, and pinning of wiring.
Comply with engineering changes and modifications.
Set up and operate test equipment for performance and reliability evaluations.
Document all work for inspection readiness.
Maintain test equipment and components.
Follow company FOD, tool control, 5-S, and safety programs.
Adapt to schedule changes.
Support aircraft certification, including flight tests as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
4 years in avionics/electrical or 2 years of accredited aviation electronics schooling plus 2 years related experience.
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license, FCC, and NCATT preferred.
Proficiency in troubleshooting additional aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, flight controls) preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to climb stairs, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.
