F-18 E/F Aircraft Avionics TechnicianDescription:
- The F-18 E/F Aircraft Avionics Technician will provide Organizational Level (O level) support focusing on the aircraft’s Electrical systems.
- Responsibilities include pre/post flight activities and inspections, reading and interpreting wiring schematics, assembly drawings, and technical manuals.
- You will use tools like torque wrenches, crimpers, and multi-meters, and perform tasks such as wire repair, component replacement, and system function checks.
- Understanding of wiring schematics and technical manuals
- Proficiency with hand tools and specialty tools
- Experience in wire repair and soldering
- Knowledge in fiber optic handling and testing
- Skill in software loading and verification
- Familiarity with IETMs and Wire Illuminator
- Understanding of NAVAIR technical publications
Pay:
- $30-$37 based on experience
- OT is involved
Additional Details & Requirements:
- 1 year contract to hire
- No tools required
- Prior fighter jet experience highly preferred
- Must have and maintain an active secret DOD clearance
