Description:

• The F-18 E/F Aircraft Avionics Technician will provide Organizational Level (O level) support focusing on the aircraft’s Electrical systems.
• Responsibilities include pre/post flight activities and inspections, reading and interpreting wiring schematics, assembly drawings, and technical manuals.
• You will use tools like torque wrenches, crimpers, and multi-meters, and perform tasks such as wire repair, component replacement, and system function checks.
  • Understanding of wiring schematics and technical manuals
  • Proficiency with hand tools and specialty tools
  • Experience in wire repair and soldering
  • Knowledge in fiber optic handling and testing
  • Skill in software loading and verification
  • Familiarity with IETMs and Wire Illuminator
  • Understanding of NAVAIR technical publications

Pay:

• $30-$37 based on experience
• OT is involved

Additional Details & Requirements:

• 1 year contract to hire
• No tools required
• Prior fighter jet experience highly preferred
• Must have and maintain an active secret DOD clearance
