PURPOSEAs a Product Specialist in the Design and Engineering team, you contribute to the design and development of innovative self-service products used by passengers at airports around the world. You work on real-world engineering challenges and be involved in multiple phases of the product creation lifecycle.
Reporting to a Senior Product Manager, you work in the Design and Engineering team, within the Passengers at Airports division, helping deliver high-quality, reliable products to the global aviation industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Contribute to the development of product and feature concepts
- Create, review, and refine product requirements
- Design, build, and validate prototypes
- Produce product impressions, visualizations, and renders
- Perform product design, design engineering, and mechanical engineering tasks
- Apply research and design methodologies to improve product sustainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a significant product design role.
- Relevant experience in the Air Transport Industry is a plus.
Background in Product Design or Mechanical Engineering
- Fluent in English
Experience with SolidWorks, KeyShot, and similar design tools
Understanding of design engineering principles and prototyping workflows
Analytical and action-oriented
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
Strong time management and ability to meet project deadlines
