Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for 2nd shift Product Acceptance Specialist Lead (Level C) to support the 787 Program SQ Receiving Inspection Team based in North Charleston / Hanahan, South Carolina.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements.

• Provides objective evidence of results.

• Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures.

• Must support inspection and verification of operations Level C and D determined work statement majority of the time.

• Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.

• Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.

• Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conforming items.

• Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

• Expertise in generation of all Velocity EPDs (PU, CI, NC, CA).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):     

• 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry

• 1+ years of experience Manufacturing Execution System common image (MESci)

• 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must be willing to work any shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ year using Velocity, REDARs and/or CMES

• Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis

• Mastery of inspection techniques using visual, tactile and tool assisted inspection methods

• Experience in a team environment

• Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience

• 787 Program Experience  

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and typically 8 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate+2 years related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Summary Pay Range: $58,650 - $79,350
