You will be the Manufacturing Planner Early Career for the Production Planning and Control organization.



What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Early Career, you will be responsible for the coordination and planning of outgoing shipments, interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure all requirements are being met. Requirements to be followed include the military packing standard for packaging and labeling, as well as DOT regulations for hazardous goods shipments.

Creation and management of detailed special package instructions for production and final assembly items. As well as the designing and creating plans and instructions for custom crates, boxes, and foam inserts.

Coordination and communication with DCMA transportation for the submittal and shipping of military goods. Interfacing with both program and government representatives to ensure contract requirements and schedules are being met.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Prefer candidates with business degree but also open to other disciplines.

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.

Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing

Knowledge of packaging requirements an DOT regulations.

Experience with CNC machines and application.

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including: experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas

Ability to obtain Green belt certification

Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs

Very good organization and communication skills

Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
