What are your contributions to the team?
- Coordinate the agenda of the Vice Presidents (Taxation and Treasury)
- Perform general office work (word processing, file follow-up, filing system maintenance, photocopies, mailings).
- Coordinate meetings and prepare all necessary material.
- Make travel arrangements and reservations.
- Handle registrations to various associations and seminars/conferences.
- Prepare expense reports, ensure budgetary follow-up.
- Act as administrator of the Eraf (Electronic Request for Approval Form) application, process access requests and produce quarterly reports; Prepare the requests throughout the year.
- Distribute the organizational charts of the corporation’s legal structure on a quarterly basis to the teams (Taxation and Treasury).
- Prepare the budget and forecast for the expenses of the Tax and Treasury departments.
- Work with accounts payable (SAP and Ariba) for the payments of all the invoices received (Treasury and Taxation) and do the follow-ups for payments, etc.
- Prepare and file quarterly documentation according to OSC and 52-109 standards.
- Participate in the preparation of support documentation related to income tax filings, tax installments, transfer pricing documentation and other compliance documents of Bombardier Inc. and its subsidiaries.
- Communicate and do follow-up with the different levels of governments (Canada and Quebec) to address collection and disbursement of fees and taxes (for tax and payroll accounts and income tax of Bombardier Inc.).
- Communicate with Treasury and Finance teams when reimbursements are received.
- Update the list of all users for all Bombardier accounts (taxes, payroll, etc.) in ClicSecur (Quebec platform) and CRA (Canada platform).
- Support and act as liaison person for communication with the governments when information is requested related to taxes, payroll accounts.
- Follow up on various requests made to tax authorities and prepare various supporting documents.
- Support the team throughout various government audits.
- Provide support to the other team members.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience
- You have a college diploma (DEC) in Office Automation, with at least five (5) years of experience, or any other combination of equivalent education and/or experience.
- You have good knowledge of accounting, finance and/or taxation (would be considered an asset).
- You have excellent communication skills and are bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel).
- You have a good sense of organization, ability to manage priorities and work ethic.
- You are flexible and creative in problem solving.
- You are a team player.
- You demonstrate innovation, perseverance and engagement.
- You are outgoing and have a sense of resourcefulness and you like to collaborate with your colleagues.
- You have an excellent sense of initiative, autonomous.
