Job Title: EHS CoordinatorJob Description
Support management efforts to ensure compliance with all Safety Programs, Training, inspections, and internal and external audits, and applicable federal and state laws. Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts to address the root cause of EHS-related issues. Train and assist others (managers, employees) in completing their safety and compliance responsibilities. Respond to and investigate events, including injuries and near-miss events, and drive closure of corrective/preventive actions. Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment processes, and provide safety preventative controls. Conduct environmental compliance site audits of hazardous waste program facilities and solid waste facilities, as assigned. Recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomics. Represent the company with regulatory agencies such as OSHA. Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the EHS Strategic Plan.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer-focus skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in security and personnel matters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Available to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- A minimum of 2-3 years in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field or a bachelors degree in EHS-relevant experience.
- Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in a safety-related field.
- Experience leading and managing a team.
- Ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns.
- Experience conducting job hazard and job safety analyses.
- Experience in emergency response and holding First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Experience in workers compensation case management.
