The Position:

The Business Systems Analyst II (BSA) for Oracle Finance is responsible for configuring, supporting, and enhancing Oracle EBS R12 applications in the Finance domain. This role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, streamlining financial processes, and delivering solutions that align with business requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Finance modules such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, and Cash Management.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Oracle Finance Applications – Support/Enhancements
    • Provide ongoing support for Oracle EBS R12 financial modules.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues related to financial processes.
    • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, ensuring minimal customization.
    • Configure Oracle financial applications to meet business needs while adhering to best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex financial application issues.
    • Publish Knowledge Base Articles (FAQs, Troubleshooting Guides, etc.) for users and team members.
    • Build and execute test scripts, system enhancements, and support production deployments.

    Process Improvements / System Implementation

    • Work closely with Finance stakeholders to understand and analyze their business processes.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to existing financial workflows.
    • Conduct gap analysis between Oracle EBS functionality and business requirements.
    • Design and validate functional specifications, including workflows, business rules, and interface definitions.
    • Develop and perform testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
    • Collaborate with developers to design and test customizations/extensions for financial applications.
    • Deliver effective knowledge transfer sessions and training for end users.
    • Support finance-specific system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
    • Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards in financial system configurations.

The salary or hourly wage range of $80,400 – $144,800is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.

Must-Have Experience:

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Oracle EBS R12 financial modules:
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • Strong proficiency in gathering and documenting functional requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle financial applications and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in creating test scripts, supporting system migrations, and deploying enhancements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle development tools like SQL Developer or TOAD.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on financial systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a hybrid work environment and meet the 60 onsite requirement.

Willingness to relocate if needed to adhere to the onsite work schedule.
