The Opportunity -
The AH-64E Apache is the worlds most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Data Specialist,to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program. The Australian Apaches will join the growing global fleet of more than 1280 aircraft operating in 18 countries, including coalition and regional partners.
The role is based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).
As the Aircraft Data Specialist you will:
- Collecting and interpreting aircraft and logistics data.
- Analysing data such as conducting analysis of flight recorder and MDR data.
- Reporting the results to the relevant members and support Army Aviation Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA) program
- Identifying patterns and trends in data sets.
- Working with the Engineering team to establish business needs.
- Working with Helicopter Structural Integrity (HSI) to develop and support the HSI system.
- Make recommendations about the methods and ways in which data is collected and analysed to improve quality and the efficiency of data systems.
This role is expected to commence 1 July 2025.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
- Experience in data models and reporting packages.
- Ability to analyse large datasets.
- Completion of DASR 21, Part M, Type Certification courses.
- Expected AASB Engineering Authority: Logistics Engineer.
